NOT IN RENO !!

Here are some of the reasons we are not in Reno, Nevada…
competing or attending the “WESTERN NATIONAL
CUTTING FINALS” !!

Now you can see why we are not in Reno!! Our machine shop is full
of PAPER MILL ""EMERGENCY"" REPAIRS !!

Steve always has way to much to work…more than a months worth of work and not enough time ( 2 weeks) to get it all done !! He always makes it happen and the MILLS are always pleased with his prompt delivery and awesome repairs…he keeps the  “WOW” in their vocabulary !! It sure is a big relief when the truck or trailer is loaded and ready to be delivered back to the PAPER MILL… in Southern Oregon.!!

He has amazing skills and an amazingly talented mind to get these
difficult jobs done !! It seems one of the mottoes  that we live by is….
NO WORK…NO PLAY !!  Plus!!... We feel very blessed with "every" job
that comes into our shop !!As of today... there is one Babbitt bearing done !!
YEAH !! She is wrapped up in pink shrink wrap... for her journey back to the mill !!
Then waiting for her turn... to get re-installed in the TURBINE !!

Then to drastically change the subject !! As you can see below…our
friend has won the $35,000  Non-Pro class. She will be taking home
a very, very nice check…which she really deserves !! She has put in lots
of years of "cutting" training!! One of the really cool things is…
that her sister Nina… raised & trained her horse & trained her!!
Plus they still are great friends and help each other out all the time…
that’s what I call a perfect sister ~ sister relationship!!  Smile

Holly Jones wins $35,000 Non-Pro

Holly Jones of Walla Walla, Washington, marked 219 on BNL Lucky Duck to win the $35,000 Non-Pro finals Thursday at the 6666 Ranch NCHA Western National Championships.
BNL Lucky Duck was bred by Lundgren Land & Livestock, by Blue Duck Okie out of Gems Co Mo Neich. The 8-year-old mare was a $5,000 Novice Non-Pro finalist with Jones at last year’s Western Nationals. She has earned more than $35,000. Jones came into the finals with the second highest score from the go-round.

It sure is nice to be able to copy and paste…especially when you need to share such a special event !!  Smile

With all this work…maybe we will be able to play a little more !! Next Year’s Finals ??
