I'VE GOT A "SECRET"...

LOOKS LIKE "SECRETS" MAKE YOU WANT TO VISIT "MY BLOG" !!
INTRODUCING...~"MONTANA SILVERADO"~ ...aka... ~"WYATT"~ !!
Yesterday he took a very, very long ride to his "new" home!! He is what Steve & I have been looking for over a year and a half!! It sure has taken a long time to find this great horse!!
He will be a lot of fun to ride ...now I will finally be able to join my sweet hubby "Steve" on cattle events and lots of trail rides!!
Tigger is coming along great but I want to keep it that way and not rush him into things that he's "NOT" ready for.
It was a little cloudy and dark the morning we picked up Wyatt.
The picture shows the happy new owner and the sorta sad past owner.
I'm sure Tigger and his new buddy Wyatt will have many years bringing me much joy and creating tons of lasting memories for Steve and I. :-)
Happy in his new stall and home!!

As you can see he really enjoyed his stall by all the shavings in his mane. He was a tired boy... remember he was in the trailer heading to Mabton for "10" hours!!

Enough with all the kisses I know you love me...but you're embarrassing me in front of all my "new" barn buddies !!
Now that you have had a good look at my new horse "Wyatt"...you can see why he makes a great addition to "OUR" barn!!

I want to thank a special little girl...her name is Carissa. On her very own she wanted to make sure Wyatt was groomed perfect before his new owners came to pick him up. The day before she gave him a bath with all the extra TLC. The next morning before she left for school she ran out to the barn to check on Wyatt to make sure he had stayed cleaned up thru the night. She did notice he needed a little touch up...so informed her mom "Christine" that she would have to take care of him before we arrived!! I thought that was something worth sharing with everyone...it's not every day you can get a 11 year old to take on such a special project!! Thanks again Carissa for making Wyatt look so handsome!

Looks like between Tigger, Chase & Wyatt I will have plenty of things to blog about this year and them some!! LOL!! Oh!!... I forgot I probably will be taking a little time and making some space for "Steve" and "Twister" once in awhile! LOL!!

Speaking of Steve I also want to give him a special "THANK YOU" for driving to Southern Oregon not only once but twice...first time was to look and the second was to take the trailer all that way to haul Wyatt home. When we finally arrived home yesterday after many long hours of riding & driving... Wyatt unloaded better than Steve!! I thought I would have to bribe him out of the truck with a Pepsi & some chocolate chip cookies!! LOL!!

Thanks again Steve...you keep me smilin from "sun up" to "sun down"!! :-)

" HANDSOME RANCH PUPPY"... CONTINUED

I'm ready for my walk!!
Chase always has to have part of the lease in his mouth on our walks!!
I'm not sure "who" is leading "who" ?
We need to work on some of those "heeling" cues!! "I" want to take this path through the pine trees!!

I'm learning "all" about how to help with the "ranch" chores!!
I just got to meet the "Roping Steers" this past week!!
I think I like them more then they like me!!
I figured if "Tigger" could do the "THE BRIDGE" thing ... so could "I" !!

We'll its been a very busy day & you can see that I'm all tuckered out!!
Don't "all" of you wish that you could still lay on your tummy like this?? !!
I'm happy, loved and very content with my "forever family"!!

It might be a couple of month's before my Mom gives you another up-date on my little puppy life. I think Tigger is beginning to feel a little left out!! Plus Mom tells me that next week she is going to start back training her horse...& I will have to "share" her time with "another" ranch critter. :-(
I'm really looking forward to meeting Tigger and maybe getting to lead him around the ranch someday!! I'm sure dreaming and hoping for that one!!
Please stay tuned in...I'm sure I will pop up on the blog "sooner" than later!! LOL!!

"HANDSOME RANCH PUPPY"

"Look" how big I've gotten since our last post!!
Today I'm already 4 months old and way to heavy for Mom to carry me around! I'm sort of sad about that...it was a fun time being a tiny puppy!...but as you can see below I'm having lots of fun going to town with Mom & sometimes even with Dad. :-) I just love going to "FREDDY'S with Mom...she always brings me out a "new" chew bone or a "new" squeaky toy!! :-) I also love driving Dad a little crazy with those!! LOL!!
I really should be a little kinder to my Dad...since he donated his very "OLD" shoe for me to enjoy when I get a little bored in the car. If I (Mom) only had some extra time to write about the story of the ..."OLD SHOE" !! LOL!!
Anyway... Thanks a bunch Dad!!
Mom had so many fun things to share about me this past month...she is going to do 2 blogs in one evening...yes I said 2 blogs!!

The photos make me look like a little ghost...I'm actually a "GOLDEN" !!
Mom took these with her cell phone. :-(
Can you tell that this is my "favorite" toy?? Thanks Chet!! :-)
I'm becoming a "Real Retriever" !! Thanks for my lesson Dale !!
A basket full of trouble and a little running over !!
Should of taken this the day we brought him home !!

A few bad habits...we are working on "just a few" !! LOL!!

It sure is hard to get some good pictures of a puppy that loves you !!
Quality is definitely a challenge !!
He is a little love...lots of fun and a great early Christmas gift !!
Looking forward to the next 3 months and beyond !!

LET'S MEET "CHASE"...

YES !! THIS IS MY NEW PUPPY "CHASE" !! ISN'T "HE" THE MOST CUTEST THING YOU HAVE SEEN LATELY??
SPECIAL DELIVERY !! ALL THE WAY FROM NEWPORT, WA !! SHE WAS ON HER (LISA) WAY TO TO DELIVER SOME PUPPIES TO SEATTLE...SO SHE MET US IN RITZVILLE. SHE WAS HAULING (5) PUPPIES AND OUT OF THE (5) SHE HAD (3) MALES LEFT TO PICK FROM. WHEN WE WERE PULLING INTO THE PARKING LOT BY Mc DONALD'S WE NOTICED ALL (5) PUPPIES PLAYING IN THE SNOW BANK. CHASE WAS THE FIRST ONE UP AND OVER THE SNOW BANK AND IT WAS DEFINITELY LOVE AT FIRST SITE! I TOLD STEVE THIS IS THE ONE! HE WAS IN SHOCK AT HOW QUICK THIS DECISION WAS MADE...ALL I CAN SAY IS WHEN YOU KNOW YOU KNOW!!

.

DOESN'T HE LOOK CONTENT WITH HIS NEW FAMILY?
STEVE ALWAYS SAID AND STILL SAYS...THAT IF HE BELIEVED IN REINCARNATION HE WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK AS "ONE" OF "MY" PETS!! LOL!!
WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO MAKING MANY GREAT MEMORIES WITH OUR NEWEST FAMILY MEMBER !! :0) :0)

Tigger's 2nd USR Trail Challenge...

UMATILLA SAGE RIDER'S SPOOKTACULAR TRAIL CHALLENGE....

In spite of the rain and my feet being soaked we finished our 3rd Trail Challenge!! I wanted to explain a few of the obstacles that Tigger and I had to maneuver through. The first one was "LOG JAM"...please pay attention how careful Tigger places his feet. I think he did a better job than his trainer!! LOL!! The second one was "LEADING HIM ON THE OFF SIDE" (which we have never trained for!!) Doesn't he look like he is scared "almost" to death having me drag the tarp by his side walking around those spooky poles?? Now you need to remember that Tigger is only "2 " !! The third was "TROTTING AROUND THE BLACKBERRY BUSH". He was suppose to trot...but I think he didn't like me asking him to trot on the "off" side. He does an awesome job from the "CORRECT" side!! :( The forth was going through the "CAR WASH" and then right "OVER THE BRIDGE"...now he loved doing that!! He was such a "GOOD BOY" !!! You're kidding "MORE" tarps ?? He was sure hoping to have a little break and morning snack while transferring the hay nets from one barrel to the other. I think "THE TUNNEL" is his favorite thing to do!! We put it up and we tried really hard to make it scary for him and all the other horses. Some of the other horses did have a few issues with passing through. One of last obstacles is "BACKING THROUGH POLES" laying on the ground. Backing is one of Tigger's great qualities for a "YOUNG" horse!! :) The judges just loved him and it looks like he loved them back!! Hope you enjoyed our video and we hope to be making some more very soon. :) MAYBE THE NEXT ONE WILL BE A LITTLE SHORTER...IT HAS TAKEN WAY TOOOOO LONG TO DOWNLOAD THIS ONE !!!

THEN AND NOW...

THEN AND NOW !!!
SPRING AND FALL!!!
As you can see things have changed a little at our ranch!! :)
" Yes "... this is a good thing!!Tigger and I are doing "GREAT"!!
It seems like he enjoys going over the bridge even more !! LOL!!!

Tigger and I are doing lots more together than just crossing over bridges!!
You will have to stay tunned and hopefully we will be showing a short video of our best performance yet !! Do I have your attention!!..??
Thanks for visiting and checking up on our progress from time to time. :)
