How Many Rides?

One of "MANY RIDES" !!! Tigger and I are becoming a great team!!!

He is such a quick learner and tons of fun to teach and ride.

He has such a willing spirit and great work attitude!!!

Our actual first ride was on...April 28th!! :)

I felt as if "HE" was looking forward to that "SPECIAL EVENT" and there was "NOT" even any little hint of "BUCKING"!!

WHAT A "GOOD BOY" !!!

I say that so often... I'm wondering if he thinks I've changed his name??

I feel even more blessed "every time" I have the opportunity to play and ride.

We are up to trotting and roll backs...next time we will be cantering/loping.

That is if this crazy weather (RAIN.. RAIN.. & MORE RAIN) will allow us to continue on a regular basis.

I guess one good thing about "rainy days" it gives me a chance to catch up on my blogging. LOL!!!

I'm hoping to post a video of us loping in the arena real soon!!! :)

TIGGER'S BIRTHDAY

TIGGER IS TWO YEARS OLD !!Tigger is officially two years old!!

His birthday was on Saturday... DOB ~05/08/08 ~
Dad (Steve) figured he would give him a few extra "berry goods" (treats) to help celebrate. :)
I'm not the only one that wants to spoil him once in awhile!! LOL!!

Big Brother...Little Brother

It's so much fun having a big brother to hang around with !!

I'm (Tigger) really lucky to have been adopted by such a loving family !! :)

We both really love working with our Dad (Steve) !!"TWISTER & TIGGER"... Working in the arena !!

PRACTICE AND TRAIL CHALLENGE

Practice Makes Perfect!! :)

There will be 10 obstacles that I (Tigger) need to practice for and here are a few.

Down the bank & up again.Log jam...trying to figure out just where

"I" need to put my little hoofs.
The bridge obstacle is my favorite!!

At the end of a long day every horse deserves
a little drink from the irrigation weir box.

Mom's are good about making sure you stay
hydrated and of course loved. :)

TRAIL CHALLENGE...BEGINS !!

The wind never ends!! ... & makes the trail challenge 10 times more difficult !!

First obstacle...log jam. Good thing Mom made me practice!

Crossing the bridge...I loved this one!!

"Z" obstacle...I had to back thru and I'm not piratically fond of this one.

Now you can see why I don't really care for this obstacle !!

Here is proof that we competed and placed 2nd place!! :)

Tigger did such an awesome job with the "TRAIL CHALLENGE" !!

He exceeded "ALL" my expectations and then some!!

He didn't refuse any obstacles and was a good sport the whole weekend!!

We are both looking forward to the next competition and the next and the next !!!

I'm sure you really want a "Tigger" in your barn...now more than ever. :)

I'm not sure if I ever told any one what Tigger's registered name was...we'll now you know!!

Tails and Trailers...

Did you forget that I'm a "BOY"??

Look Out!! ~ I'm comin in!!
Tigger did such a great job learning to load in the "BIG BOY" horse trailer this week.
I'm convinced that it even helped improve his backing up skills. :)
We will see how he does this weekend backing up on the "Trail Challenge" course.
