I'm A Big Boy Now

Look who's a "BIG BOY" now !!!

First the saddle...then the bridle and then little old me !!!
When he took off walking with the saddle for the first time... he was like watching a ballerina on her tip toes. :) He is so fun to watch every time we introduce new things !!!
This crazy wind has slowed down my training progress considerably!!! :(

I'm really hoping the next time I post a picture of Tigger he will be shinny and clean !!! He always seems to find the most
messy places to take a nap. LOL!!!

Ready For Rain?

Since "Spring" is taking it's sweet time getting here...we thought we would get a little more prepared for a "RAINY DAY" !

Tigger has been so accepting of "NEW" things.. saddle pads, GREY TARPS, big balls and etc.

I can hardly wait for our "FIRST" ride !!! It's getting closer than you think !!!

Tigger did great on his first day in the round pen...working on jumping over the "scary" log. As you can see "HE" didn't think it was scary at all. He is doing awesome with every training lesson and "HE" keeps amazing me every day. I'm thankful I have such a great tempered little colt to work with. I can hardy wait for our afternoon lesson to start each and every day. I'm so surprised at how much I'm enjoying training/working with him...even more than I expected!!! Keep checking back and I will try to be more faithful about adding something...hopefully once a week. I'm sure the video will make you "ALL" want to have a "TIGGER" in your barn.

Meet Tigger !!!

~January 29th~

This is Tigger and I the day we picked him up! He obviously needs a good bubble-bath and we took care of that a few days after we got home. He didn't even mind!

He caught my eye about 3 months ago !!!

I couldn't stop dreaming about his beautiful mane !!! As you can see for yourself !!!

He is going to be my new "PROJECT"...something I have put off for

40 years...did I just say 40 years?

We'll I better get busy right away...time is running out!!! LOL!!!

The best reason I could find for starting a "BLOG" ... Buying a new colt and keeping you all up-dated on his and my progress.
